The GKTECH SR20/KA24 5 speed short throw shifter is a direct replacement of the standard item and helps reduce the shifter throw by around 30% which helps increase shift time and also makes everything feel much tighter.
Note that although this short shifter looks similar to others on the market our shifter is the only shifter that utilises the OEM shifter cup to drastically help reduce noise which is very common in short shifters.
- CNC machined aluminium base
- Fits all KA24DE, CA18DE/DET and SR20DE/DET 5-speed transmissions (RWD ONLY)
NOTE: will NOT fit the S15 6-speed transmission

What's the advantage of using the GKTech
By installing an aftermarket short shifter you are not only reducing the time between gearshifts but also increasing the feel of your gearbox.
What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
No modifications are required, simply just remove and refit.
Is there anything else needed for installation?
No, you will need your OEM hardware, however, in terms of the shifter itself it will arrive as shown in the product photo.
Can I install this myself?
Yes, provided you have general mechanical knowledge it is very straight forward.

This is excellent. I have a good bit of gktech parts on my car now 😁 I like the medium weight return springs. The heavy duty ones are too beast. Medium is the way to go.
Great communication, quick postage and parts were packaged well. Will buy again!!
Has been installed for 2 months now, works like a charm and shifts far better than I would have thought. Perfect purchase, worth the money.
Awesomeness beyond expectations 👍😊
Great quality product that installed correctly and feels fantastic. Install- I ended up dropping the gearbox crossmember to give some more clearance for the front 2 bolts. Also the brass bushing takes some patience to line up.
