The GKTECH Z33 and Z34 dual stud diff covers were purpose designed in house for grip racing, drifting and drag racing. With the Z33 and Z34 OEM diff cover using a single stud at the rear it is incredibly prone to breakage in high grip/hp setups. We are confident this is the BEST aftermarket diff cover available!
Through a lengthy design phase, destructive testing and a lot of real world drifting and drag car testing - this is the end result. It's no secret our billet dual stud diff covers were a popular piece, but by going down the route of proprietary Aluminium Alloy used for casting we've been able to make these more accessible and more affordable than EVER before.
Stronger than OEM in EVERY way possible, added stud mounting ribs, increased thickness, single and dual stud compatible, increased oil capacity, added cooling fins and much much more.

To ensure our diff cover is stronger than OEM we did some in-house destructive testing, resulting in over a 20% strength increase in single stud application and even more in dual stud configuration (we couldn't break it and broke the press instead).
To further make this more accessible for everyone, we've been working hard on ensuring a suitable mounting option for everyone - from solid bushing dual stud, polyurethane dual stud options, bolt in or weld in bushings etc. Even including diff bush removal tools when needed!

FAQs
Will this fit my car?We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under "vehicle compatibility". Note that the difference between Z33 and Z34 specific versions is based on the subframe. Z33 350z version is to suit an aluminum subframe and the Z34 370z version is to suit a steel subframe.
Do you make these to suit other cars?
We unfortunately don't offer these for any other vehicles at present.
What's the advantage of using the GKTech extended diff cover?
This beautiful piece of engineering provides an extra 500cc capacity over the standard cover, incorporates a secondary diff stud and has the provision for an external cooler. This extra capacity helps regulate diff oil reducing wear of your LSD/bearings.
What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
The secondary diff bush must be installed using our template. It's pretty straight forward and so long as you have a standard sized holesaw, and a welder if opting for the weld in bush, it's easy.
Is there anything else needed for installation?
No, the secondary diff bush will be included, diff studs are included along with all plugs, breather etc.
Will this diff cover work with a car that has 4WS?
No, this cover won't fit a 4WS subframe.
Can I use this cover in conjunction with the OEM diff bushing?
It is not recommended and we would advise strongly against it. Using a secondary diff stud is really advantegous in helping get power to the ground. If you were to have 1 bush solid mounted and the other as the OEM rubber bushing, the loads would be unqeual and would put unnecessary load on the cover. A Polyurethane bushing may be ok but we do recommend the use of a solid primary bush (which we do have available separately)
