The GKTECH Super Lock front lower control arms simplify, improve and replace the front lower control arm and caster rods on the FR-S / GR86 or BRZ, while also supporting around 65+ degrees of steering lock.

These arms are designed based off CMM data, they are CAD designed, FEA tested, have CNC machined ends and the main body is laser cut and bent from 4130 Chromoly Steel.

Adjustable, with 2 different length options; OEM length and adjust out to +30mm from OEM or; +40mm through to +70mm over OEM length.

Designed with the OEM knuckle in mind, meaning they will work with our bolt on steering kit which uses the OEM knuckle.

We still use, as we do all our arms, common sized PTFE bearings throughout the arm, which can be found locally, however, we do have them on the shelf should you wish to carry spares. We also use our high misalignment rose/ heim joints to allow the arm to rotate freely.

Dust boots to protect the rose/ heim joints are included and have lock stops built into the arm for those that want to dial down the fun.

Finally, the arms are E-coated (electrophoresis coating) for rust prevention.

- Allow for 65+ degrees of steering lock
- Adjustable from OEM length through to +30mm or +40mm through to +70mm
- Designed to be used with OEM knuckle
- Adjustable lockstop
- 3 swaybar mounting positions for adjustment
- On car caster adjustment (6.75 default, max 10.2, min 4)
- High misalignment rose/ heim joints
- CMM measured, CAD designed, FEA tested
- CNC machined ends
- Laser cut 4130 Chromoly steel design

NOTE: OEM end links can not be used with these LCA's. However, our adjustable end links (or possibly other brands) will work with these LCA's should you wish to retain the swaybar.

NOTE: If you are using our older style V1/V2 86 steering kits with these lower control arms that use the straight style tie rod end you will need to replace that with our curved style tie rod end, which can be seen here - https://us.gktech.com/fr-s-gr86-brz-curved-high-misalignment-tie-rod-ends

FAQs

How much angle can I get out of these LCA's?
Our lower control arms can support around 65 degrees of steering lock!

How hard are these to fit?
They are quite easy to install but mechanical knowledge is required and recommended.

We also include an assembly guide on most product pages, that can be seen above. You are also welcome to get in touch if you need help.

But apart from that, remove your standard LCA's and compression rods and the LCA's will bolt straight in.

What happens if a bearing needs to be replaced?
They are common sized bearings, which can be found at any local bearing supplier.

The ball joints used are an OEM style unit.
The rose/ heim joints used are PCML12TES

Are these suited to circuit/grip racing?
Yes, absolutely. These arms use of spherical bearings which do make them entirely useful for circuit/grip racing by eliminating bush deflection. Coupled with the built-in caster angle and the additional adjustment to increase track width.

Do I need to do any other modifications to get the most from these LCA's?
You can bolt them in as they are, however, you would only increase your track and caster angle.
Ideally, you would get these alongside our bolt on steering kit if you're looking for more steering lock (drift car) and either the bolt on rack spacers or the offset rack spacers. If you plan to run a swaybar either for grip or drift setups, you will need to use in conjunction with our adjustable swaybar end link (refer to product GT86-FELS). In addition to the swaybar end link, if you run the LCA's much longer than OEM you will need longer tie rods (like the ones we sell in this listing).

Will these fit my car?
We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under "confirmed fitment".

How long is the warranty on these arms?
All GKTECH suspension arms come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

The PTFE lined rose/ heim joints come with a 1 year replacement warranty and as mentioned, they are a common size which can be found at any local bearing supplier, or we do keep them on the shelf!

Are these suspension arms legal for use on street cars?
We do recommend that you contact your local RTA for clarification/confirmation if you intend to run on a street car. Whether you use a suspension arm with a rose joint on public roads is at your discretion.

Do you carry spare parts for this product?
Yes we carry the following spare parts for this product;

Ball joint
PCML12TES

Best LCA's for the Price

I'll begin with, THESE ARE THE BEST LCA's MONEY CAN BUY unless you're a baller and can afford Wisefab, unlike the other 98% of the population. I got mine about 6 months ago and I've driven drift, street and track with them and the only issue I've had is that I can't use their full capabilities of them because I haven't relocated my steering rack. If you are in Australia like me, GKTECH is the only and best option for getting more lock in our nuggets, in terms of price, performance and support, nothing beats them.
